Zoobotics Team Update

FTC Team# 13917 has already qualified for the state tournament with their robot’s performance in the first tournament, so they focused on trying to win the non-robot performance awards in their latest competition.
 
The top award is the “Inspire Award." It is given to the team that best embodies the ‘challenge’ of the FIRST Tech Challenge program.  This team is a top contender for many other judged awards and is a gracious competitor. The team won the “Inspire Award” third place. 
 
The second top award is the “Think Award”.  It is given to the team that best reflects the journey the team took as they experienced the engineering design process during the build season. They must show an understanding of the underlying science, mathematics and game strategies.The team won the “Think Award” first place.  
 
The team also won the “Control Award” third place. This award celebrates a team that uses sensors and software to increase the robot’s functionality in the field.
