Gold Cards for Senior Citizens

Kalamazoo Public Schools now offers a new pass called a Gold Card to residents of the district who are 62 years and older. These passes entitle the bearers to free admission to regular-season athletic events held at KPS facilities. The passes will not be honored at hockey matches, invitationals, playoff games, or tournaments.

The cards are available at the KPS Administration Building, 1220 Howard St., during regular business hours. Visitors must present identification, such as a driver’s license, to verify their age and residency in order to obtain a card. The cards are non-transferable and do not expire.

In addition to the Gold Cards, all senior citizens attending KPS home athletic events can purchase discounted tickets beginning this school year. The discounts are available to attendees over the age of 62, but there is no residency requirement.

Kalamazoo Public Schools is pleased to provide these opportunities for senior citizens to attend sporting events. A list of athletic events can be found on the calendar on the KPS website at kalamazoopublicschools.com
