Middle School

Getting ready to make the leap from elementary school to middle school is an exciting time for your child! This site is designed to help make the transition to middle school as easy as possible.A broad set of stimulating learning settings is the key feature of our middle school curriculum. Core courses in  English Language Arts, mathematics, science, physical education and social studies are taught daily. Students also have the opportunity experience a wide variety of classes such as computer applications, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, art, band, orchestra, choir, robotics, life skills, digital imaging, and more!

KPS also offers English language instruction for students who are dominant in a language other than English.

Students in eighth grade have several opportunities to earn high school credit which count towards graduation, even before entering high school.

Of course the school experience would not be complete without the opportunity to participate in athletics and clubs.
