Secondary Education
The Department of Secondary Education provides support to the middle and high schools in our district.
KPS students have the choice of attending a comprehensive high school (Loy Norrix or Kalamazoo Central), Phoenix High School, Kalamazoo Innovative Learning Program (KILP) or enrolling in the virtual program. We provide different opportunities because we know not all students learn alike. Phoenix, KILP and the virtual program provide second chances and flexibility.
