Integrated Pest Management Notification

ADVISORY TO ALL PARENTS

Dear Parent/Guardian:
Kalamazoo Public Schools has adopted an Integrated Pest Management program. Inherent with this are the District’s efforts to reduce the use of chemical pesticide(s) as much as possible. While it may occasionally be necessary to apply a pesticide, they will only be used as a last resort. You have the right to be informed prior to any
pesticide application made to the school buildings and grounds. In certain emergencies, pesticides may be applied without prior notice, but you can be provided notice following any such application. To receive notification, please complete the following information and submit to your child’s school.
