French Club Language Café meets after school today (1/18) in room 248 for 30 minutes of French conversation
FCCLA will meet today after school in room 406. All members and officers should attend.
Marketing Students and DECA members: The conference at KVCC is all day tomorrow (1/19). If you haven’t received your permission slip, see Mr. Roy immediately. Remember you must be professionally Dressed for Success! Contact Mr. Roy if you have any questions and to discuss your transportation plans. We will meet outside the Maroon Shop tomorrow morning at 7:45 am.
Tutoring with Western Michigan students will resume on Monday (1/22).
Attention student drivers, it is important that you get your parking pass asap for $15 in Mrs. Boggan’s office. If you do not have a parking pass hanging from your rearview window, you will end up with a warning sticker on your window.
GAMERS! Are you interested in joining KC's first E-Sports team? There will be an informational meeting today (1/18) after school during Video Club in room 136. Mr. Graham will be giving out info and asking which games you would like to participate in. Competitive Games are: League of Legends, Overwatch and Rocket League. If there are other games that you have an interest being competitive in, we will discuss it at the meeting after school in room 136.
Magic the Gathering Club meets today after school in room 342.
Three Kalamazoo United Alpine Ski Team members from KC finished in the top ten overall at last nights ski race at Bittersweet. For the boys, senior Reuben Glasser finished 2nd overall while sophomore Jaxson Terranella-Hoffman finished 5th overall. On the girls side, Junior Emily Eckert finished 3rd Overall. Congrats to the whole team including Tasia Parsons and Jordan Smith for a strong performance. Bundle up and join us next Wednesday (1/24) to support your ski team as we host the next league event at Bittersweet starting at 5pm!
Last night the varsity girls basketball team hosted Detroits Chandler Park Academy and won with a score of 51-44. Congratulations Lady Giants!
Tonight the men’s swim and dive team hosts Mattawan in the pool at 6:00. Show your ID for the $3 admission.
