Spirit day tomorrow is class color day
Winter Fests Glow in the Snow Dance Tickets will be sold for $5 today and tomorrow (2/9) during all three lunches. Tickets sold at the door will be $7.
Sophomores this announcement is for you and is very important: If your counselor is Mrs. Ryskamp, last names A – G or Ms. Spencer, last names Q – Z, and if you haven't picked your classes for next year, PLEASE REPORT TO COMPUTER LAB 301 DURING 5TH HOUR TODAY.
And if your last names is H-P, if you have not scheduled courses with Ms. Curry, please come to room 225 during 2nd hour. Please check in with your teacher first.

The KC Wrestling Team are District Champions! They were victorious last night, beating both Portage Central and Portage Northern in thrilling fashion, winning both dual meets on tie breaking criteria. Senior Captains Craig King, Lamontre Coker, and Jacob Seager led our team consisting of Cameron Williams, Sam Rice, Nik Vallier, Jeriean Steward, Jeffrey DeYoung, Austin Post, Rhyan Smith, Sam Henley, Pikasso Guttierez, Nick Salvaggio, Nick Weston, Jeffrey Moore and many others. Hard work pays off, great work everyone!
Two Kalamazoo United Alpine Ski Team members from KC had top five overall finishes at Wednesday evening’s ski race at Bittersweet. For the boys, sophomore Jaxson Terranella-Hoffman finished 7th in the Giant Slalom event and 3rd in Slalom to finish 5th overall. This was a career best night for Jaxson! On the girl’s side, Junior Emily Eckert finished 4th in Slalom and 6th in Giant Slalom to tie for 4th overall. Emily has finished 6th, 4th, and 3rd twice in the overall standings this season. Congrats to the whole team including Tasia Parsons, Jordan Smith, and Sam Van Natter for a strong performance.
On Tuesday, February 13th the Kalamazoo United Alpine Ski Team will compete in the MHSAA Division 1, Region 1 Championships at Cannonsburg, just north of Grand Rapids. Top performers in that meet earn the right to go to the State Finals. Please wish all our skiers the best of luck!
