It is our mission to help our students become successful and to assist them in reaching their potential.  Building relationships with our students/families and maintaining sound two-way communication between the home and school are vital to this endeavor.  It is also essential that our parents have easy access to all information that the school offers so that they can make informed educational decisions with their children.

From the Counseling office: A representative from the Army will visit at 1:00 on Jan 16th. Please, get a pass from your counselor or main office.


Attention 1st Trimester Basic Design students! Please stop by Mrs. Deau's room 521 to pick up your artwork from 1st Trimester Basic Design by today(1/12).


Are you a Mortal Instruments or Lunar Chronicles fan? How about Michael Vey? The library media center now has the new book by the Mortal Instruments author Cassandra Clare and the Lunar Chronicles author Marissa Meyer. We also have the next book in the Michael Vey series. Come check them out!


Students, your cafeteria accounts need to be paid off starting Monday, January 15th. They will be implementing the cold cheese sandwich and white milk again for the substitute lunch for those that owe.


Students you must have your parking pass visible on your car. This week campus safety will be checking cars with no parking pass. If you don’t have one, come to the principal’s office to pay $15 for your parking pass.


There will be a bilingual club meeting in room 548 next Tuesday (1/16) from 2:30-3:15. We will be discussing and planning upcoming events. See you there.


Our last Macho Volleyball Practices are today (1/12). Freshman and Juniors from 2:30 - 4:00p, Sophomores and Seniors from 4:15p - 6:00p. Plan your own ride home after practice. Macho Volleyball will be held here at KC on Monday January 15th at 6pm. Admission is $3


Attention Teachers, please don't forget to sign for your attendance in the red binder in the main office. There will be a new sheet up this afternoon for this week and it needs to be signed by the end of the day today.


FCCLA will hold its January meeting next Tuesday (1/16) after school in room #406. Students who would like more information about the State Leadership Conference should see Ms. Boulding in room 406 or one of your chapter officers.



Wrestlers, your JV meet in Three Rivers this afternoon has been cancelled. There will not be an early release for any athletes today. JV wrestlers still need to go to practice because some of you may end up wrestling with varsity tomorrow.


Conditioning for boys and girls lacrosse will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:15-5:45 pm at Maple Street Middle School gym. If you are interested in playing this spring, please attend, no experience necessary.
