Published: 2 years 323 days ago Dear King-Westwood Jaguar Families,

I want to let you know about some changes to our office staff at King-Westwood. Angie Boyd has moved over to the KPS Administration Building, where she will be working in the Information Systems Department. We wish Angie the very best in her new role!

We are happy to welcome Nicole Davis to our King-Westwood office. Nicole will join current secretary, Karen Brooks, in assisting students, staff, and families at King-Westwood. Before coming to King-Westwood, Nicole worked as a paraprofessional at Millwood Elementary School. Nicole is working on a Human Resources Management degree. Please join me in welcoming Nicole to our King-Westwood family. If you are not familiar with Nicole, please stop in the office the next time you are at King-Westwood and introduce yourself to her.

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, March  9th from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. for Family Literacy Night at King-Westwood. The theme for the evening will be “Hats Off to Reading.” Students and families will be able to visit each grade level to participate in an activity.

Students may also visit the computer lab to show their families different programs that promote and enhance literacy, both at school and at home. The Scholastic Book Fair will also be on display at King-Westwood during Family Literacy Night, as well as other displays of interest to students, parents, and families. We hope to see you at King-Westwood on March 9th!

I look forward to seeing you around King-Westwood. Thank you for partnering with us and allowing us to serve you and your family.
Best Regards,
Sandie Lundquist, Principal
