This course provides students with the fundamental skills and concepts of algebra including proportions, linear functions, exponential functions, and quadratic functions. This course integrates the use of multiple representations including graphs, tables and equations and uses manipulatives and technology to further students’ algebraic thinking. Students learn to model real-life situations with connections to geometry, statistics and probability.
** KPS students who pass this course will receive one (1.0) high school math credit towards the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
