This Spanish language literature course will expand students’ literacy skills in the Spanish language through the exploration of various genres and elements of authentic Spanish language literature and will provide a great deal of opportunity for oral communication. Students will discover major works of literature from the Pre-Columbian period to the present day. Students will develop their writing skills and acquire information from authentic sources in Spanish to develop research projects and advance their understanding of Spanish grammar. (Students must complete Spanish Literature I, II & III to receive 2.0 high school credits.)
