This course provides students with an understanding of the regions of the world in the Eastern and Western Hemispheres and the people who live there. Students are challenged to use the tools of geography to view, analyze, and understand the world around them. The course will integrate informational reading and writing including visual literacy with the study of charts, graphs, and maps.
