KPS COVID-19 Dashboard
-
Per requirements from MDHHS, all schools are required to provide public notice via the school’s website within 24 hours of being notified of a school-associated COVID-19 case. All new cases represent positive cases that have been reported by Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services on that date. Cumulative cases represent the total number of cases to date, including new cases.
Please note that the case count does not reflect an outbreak within the school. For a list of current school outbreaks, please visit MDHHS’ school-related outbreak reporting website, updated every Monday. For more information about COVID-19 in Kalamazoo County, please visit the Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services COVID-19 Dashboard.
KPS dashboard updated daily by 5:00pm Based on guidance from the Kalamazoo County Health Department and per October 6th MDHHS Epidemic Order, schools need to report only “School Associated Cases” present on school property or at a school function under circumstances that may result in the transmission or contraction of COVID-19 during their infectious period. Schools do not need to report virtual-only persons who did not access school property or were not at a school function. Therefore, our school reporting dashboard has been updated to remove the virtual-only persons who did not access school property or were not present at a school function.
Status of Instruction and School-Sponsored Functions:
- Instruction: remote
- School-Sponsored Functions: no cancellations
