Students should discuss credit retrieval options with their counselors or dean of students before enrolling. Students may take two, half-credit courses during the summer (one per session). Students may not select courses (1) they have not taken previously or (2) have taken and already received a passing credit. Classes are being offered in English, math, social studies and science.
All classes will be held on Google Meet. Students must have a device and Internet access to participate.
Session A runs 9-10 a.m. Monday through Thursday, July 6-Aug. 6. Session B runs 10:15-11:15 a.m. Monday through Thursday, July 6- Aug. 6. Virtual office hours for both sessions are 11:15-11:45 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
Attendance is mandatory. Students who miss more than two days per session may be dropped from the program. Credit will not be awarded. Refunds will not be issued.
Cost is $50 for one course and $85 for two courses for KPS students. For KPS students on free or reduced-price lunch, the cost is $35 for one course, $50 for two courses.
