Kalamazoo Promise Survey Open
The Promise Seeks 2003-2006 Grads for Survey
Kalamazoo Public Schools graduates from the classes of 2003 to 2006, The Kalamazoo Promise office seeks your participation in a survey on the 10th anniversary of the scholarship program.
Robert Jorth, executive director of the Kalamazoo Promise, seeks input on how the Promise helps further education and workforce preparation, as well as the ways in which the Promise could be improved to support these goals for all KPS students.
The survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/10yearpromise.
All eligible respondents who complete the survey will receive a $10 electronic gift card for Amazon.com.
This survey is intended for Kalamazoo Public Schools' alumni, who are at least 10 years out from their high school graduation. Former students do not need to have received Promise funding, or even to have been eligible to receive funding, to fill out the survey.
Alumni are encouraged to share the link with your classmates. The Promise office is trying to reach as many graduates as possible, and current contact information is not available for all alums.
All responses to the survey will be kept confidential. Responses will help the Promise administrators and the evaluation team at the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research better understand how the Promise is helping meet students' financial aid needs and what can be improved to promote long-term success.
The survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
"We thank you in advance for completing the survey, and helping make the Kalamazoo Promise an even more successful program. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me," Jorth said. Those with questions about the survey can reach him at (269) 337-0037.
