Internet Projects

This year our classes will be involved in several collaborative internet based projects.  Through these projects we will be in contact with other children around the world, explore new concepts, and have fun!

We will be reading the book Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and charting our weather.  We will be comparing our information with other classrooms around the country.

O.R.E.O  (Our Really Exciting Online project) 

We will be stacking oreo cookies, predicting the number we will be able to stack, and comparing our final average with classrooms around the world! Click here for more information.

For this project, which is based in Australia, we will be tallying the teeth that are lost by the children in our classes from February to April 2010.  We will also be counting children who have not lost any teeth yet.  Our results will be compared with other classes around the world.
