Phoenix High School is proud to host a screening of the film "Traces of the Trade: A story from the Deep North" on Thursday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the school.
"Traces of the Trade" unearths a hidden legacy of slavery in American, and was one of the few documentaries chosen from 953 submissions to be shown at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. It traces the journey by the filmmaker Katrina Brown and nine of her cousins into the dark past of the slave trade, which...The Annual Education Report (AER) provides key information on the 2010-2011 educational progress of the Kalamazoo Public Schools district (KPS) as required by federal (No Child Left Behind Act) and state (P.A. 25) laws.
