Communities in Schools is pleased to announce that Dentist R Us will be at Loy Norrix on May 7th for initial cleanings and exams. These services are available for all students with no insurance or Medicaid. Registration forms will be passed out in 1st hour and need to be returned to the Communities in Schools office in order to be scheduled for an appointment.

March is Literacy month. In observation of Literacy month, we are having a friendly reading competition. Your child has a chance to win a brand new digital tablet. Bus 108 will now pick up students ten minutes earlier than usual, because of a new stop on the elementary bus route. This change will become effective on Monday, December 19, 2011.

The first annual Loy Norrix Alumni Game will be held at Loy Norrix on Tuesday, December 27, 2011. There will be two games throughout the evening: one at 6 p.m. for pre-1990 graduates, and one at 7 p.m. for post-1990 graduates. The pre-1990 game will be coached by Coach Bill Stuifbergen and Coach Ted Duckett. The post-1990 game will be coached by Coach Cory Degroote and Coach Ken Jackson.
