  • Indian Prairie celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 23 - 31! Each day had a theme, to take the pledge to always celebrate "Just saying NO to drugs!!"

  • Indian Prairie was visited by Brainstormers, sponsored in part by the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs and the Michigan Humanities Council. Students learned the writing process and discovered "If they can think it, they can write it!" Students will use the tools from the assembly to create stories for publishing and for Brainstormers follow-up Sky Writer's program on March 20, 2012 at 9:15 AM.

  • Our 1st Grade classes took their first school trip to the library this year! All students received library cards and participated in story time. Our next visit will be Thursday, November 17. Keep reading!

  • The Annual Education Report (AER) provides key information on the 2010-2011 educational progress of the Kalamazoo Public Schools district (KPS) as required by federal (No Child Left Behind Act) and state (P.A. 25) laws. The AER is attached as a pdf for you to review here, and paper copies are available in the main office.
