Opening celebration planned at WoodsEdge Learning Center

The opening celebration for Kalamazoo RESA’s new WoodsEdge Learning Center will be held from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. on September 15, 2010.

The event will include tours of the state-of-the-art special-education learning facility and feature the building’s innovative learning spaces and tools designed to support students at all stages of learning. The public is invited to attend.

The first of two construction projects funded by a $25.4 million bond proposal that Kalamazoo County voters approved in 2007, WoodsEdge Learning Center is the new home for the program previously housed at Croyden Avenue School.

WoodsEdge Learning Center is located at 1501 E. Milham Avenue in Portage, next to the Kalamazoo RESA Service Center. For more information about the school, visit www.kresa.org/woodsedge.
