Kindergarten Orientation Is March 21: Find Out More!
If you have a child who will be five years old by December 1, 2012, we invite you and your family to visit our schools and to enroll your child in kindergarten during the districtwide Kindergarten Orientation event. You can also apply for PEEP enrollment! PEEP is the KPS Prekindergarten Early Education Program for students who will be four years old by December 1, 2012. You can print all of this information by opening the attachment at the bottom of this post.
What is Kindergarten Orientation? It's a chance for families to register incoming kindergartners, meet teachers, visit classrooms, and learn more about the many programs KPS offers.
Where is Kindergarten Orientation? Every KPS elementary school will be open to families, with visiting hours scheduled both during school hours and in the evening.
When is Kindergarten Orientation? March 21, 2012. Scroll down or click here to see times for each elementary school.
What should we bring to Kindergarten Orientation?

- Proof of hearing and vision screening (if available -- tests taken for PEEP or Head Start are OK)
